Here it is ~ the first Sneak Peek of the new 2018 Holiday Catalog!! And all this week you’ll be seeing new products! Yippee! I’m starting off with my FAVORITE bundle in the catalog, the First Frost Bundle! The Catalog goes live on September 5th, so start making your list as you see my sneak peeks 🙂
This set is SO pretty. Look at these flowers! Here I’ve stamped them in Flirty Flamingo ink, and the way the stamp is made gives the light and dark shading. The vine stamp has similar shading. Pretty, right?
The Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies coordinate beautifully with the stamp set. There are 11 dies in this set.
This card just barely scratches the surface of what can be done with this bundle. I will be showing you more in the upcoming weeks!

Today’s card is a fun Congratulations Card which was created with three different stamp sets!! That’s a great thing about stamping, you can mix and match ALL the stamps you have 🙂
The design for this card is based on the sketch challenge over at Global Design Project. To play the challenge, I created a card based on their sketch for this week. Here’s it is:
You can see that I used the “congrats” sentiment from the Vertical Greetings stamp set to create the three vertical stripes. I set them on a Blackberry Bliss circle punched with the Starburst Punch. I love the contrast of the Blackberry Bliss card stock and the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.
The spray of flowers was stamped using the Love What You Do stamp set and colored in with a Rich Raspberry Colored Pencil. Then I blended the colored area with a Blender Pen.The Blender Pen has a bit of alcohol in it that makes the pencil marks flow together and look almost like a marker.
Then I stamped the large “congratulations” sentiment from the Another Wonderful Year set. I made today’s card for someone who recently had a wonderful thing happen! I love being able to send a fun card to show support for great things that happen in other’s lives.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a fabulous week!!
Isn’t this girl adorable with her huge bunch of balloons? I love the way her toes are curled in a bit 🙂 This is one of the Host Sets offered by Stampin’ Up! to those who place an order of $150 or more. There are several nice Host Sets to choose from but I really like this set.
You can simply stamp the outline of the balloons, or you can can stamp the outline and then color the balloons with Stampin’ Blends, or watercolor pencils. For this card I cut out circles using the Layering Circles Framelits Does and card stock that matched the colors I used in her skirt. I colored her shoes and skirt with Stampin’ Blends.
Hooray! All month long I’m celebrating my 6th Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! And I just had to make this congratulations card to give you a sneak peek of a fun new Host Stamp Set that will be available in the new Annual Catalog on June 1st. I love this new stamp set, it’s SO cute!
This is me being lifted up by the balloons, full of joy that I’ve spent 6 years with this wonderful company! I can’t believe it’s gone by so fast!!
The balloons are each watercolored with the new 2018-2020 In Colors. I want you to have lots of opportunities to see how beautiful these colors are. I tried to color a few of them both dark and light so you can get the full spectrum of color 🙂
Take a close look at the balloons. Here are the five colors, see if you can spot them: Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, and Grapefruit Grove. Which ones have two balloons? Leave me a comment here and I’ll tell you if you got it right! 🙂
I’ve been talking a lot about the new In Colors and new products, but don’t forget about all the retiring products that will be gone on May 31st! This includes the colors that are also retiring ~ get them now while you can!
Hi there! Today’s card is for a good friend who is moving. She likes yellow and orange, and gold, so I created a card for her using those colors 🙂
Ok, so I love the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (a free Sale-a-Bration item!). I really like the die-cut word “amazing.” It’s delicate and curvy and looks great on any project. And cut out in Whisper White it even looks a bit lacy, don’t you think?
Pretty Pointer: You can use Stampin’ Blends Markers with any stamped image. Be sure to use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink or heat embossing to stamp/set your image. This prevents the alcohol in the markers from blurring the stamped image.
Here I’ve stamped a flower from the Amazing You stamp set (also free during Sale-a-Bration) with the Memento Ink and then colored it in with the Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. Behind the flowers are a few vellum leaves punched out with the Leaf Punch.
For the base of the card I’ve used Whisper White card stock topped with some Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate. This acetate is gold on one side and silver on the other. Then I’ve used a Shimmery White panel that’s been watercolored with Daffodil Delight ink.
Just a few more days to order my Southern Serenade Online Class!
Do you know someone who needs congratulations? Someone who needs to hear a “well done”? Well, this is the perfect card! I made this card for a member of my team who has done a fabulous job, and I’m so glad I had these Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. I got them FREE with my recent order, and I just love them!
For this card, I used a sheet of the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. Those little dots you see are silver foil and are a part of the beautiful paper, and wow are they pretty! I used some Bermuda Bay card stock for the “amazing” sentiment, and some star sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment to add more bling! Aren’t these colors gorgeous together? The paper color is Calypso Coral and the Bermuda Bay (blue) looks striking against it.
