SNEAK PEEK! NEW STAMP SET! The large stamp used on today’s card is called Leaf Collection. It’s a beautiful big stamp covered with leaves, and there is so much you can do with it. Today I’ve created a congratulations card for a wedding. It’s a monochromatic card in the new Peach Pie In Color, and the design is from the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge for this week.
The Leaf Collection stamp is a large stamp. It fits on an “F” block or you could use a stamp positioning tool to stamp it. But my way of using it is to turn it upside down on your work surface. I used a glass mat and the stamp stuck well to it (see the video below). Cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Peach Pie cardstock. Cover the stamp well with VersaMark ink. Place the cardstock over the stamp and press all over. Pull up the cardstock and cover with white embossing powder. Then heat with the Heat Tool.
A 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and glued in the center of the Peach Pie piece. A piece of the pretty Peach Pie 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon was tied around the entire piece, securing with a bow on the left side. Then the entire piece was adhered to the front of a Basic White card base.

The sentiment is from the Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set. It’s stamped on a 7/16″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock using Peach Pie ink. Then a 9/16″ x 4″ strip of Peach Pie cardstock was adhered under that with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The double strip was cut down around the sentiment and adhered to the top of the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
