Today’s card was made for this week’s Global Design Project Challenge. The theme is “ocean.”

I cut out the cute little puffer fish from the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper. These little guys are so cute! (My husband told me they can be dangerous when they get all puffed up.) This paper is a Last Chance item, so if you like it, grab it quick!

The card base is Pool Party cardstock, then a layer of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper was watercolored to look like the ocean. A layer of Gold Open Weave Trim was wrapped around the card to mimic a fish net.

Then one little fish gets away and jumps up over the net yelling “hooray”!

This was a fun card to make and really outside my normal. I ended up really loving the cute little puffer fish 🙂

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

Peggy, great take for the challenge. I love how you used the open-weave gold mesh. Enjoy your day!
