Two good friends of mine had grandbabies last week ~ one friend had a girl and one had a boy! Well of course I had to make cards for them! These cards are easy to make and I’m going to show you why. The first thing I used is my go-to baby stamp set called Moon Baby!
I stamped the little baby holding the umbrella on some scraps of Whisper White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
After I stamped the sweet little babies, I colored them in with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. Then I cut the babies out with my paper snips and layered them on top of a Tea Lace Doily with punched circles from coordinating card stock.
The sentiment was cut with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. They are FREE during Sale-a-Bration! What? Free? Yes, and here’s a video all about them – and a coordinating stamp set. But for my baby cards today I used the Moon Baby set 🙂
The bases and envelopes for these cards are the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes. These are fabulous card bases with matching envelopes, and they make creating any card a snap! They are also FREE during Sale-a-Bration! Wow! 16 cards and coordinating envelopes, 4 each of 4 different colors. Having these on hand makes for some easy and quick cards!
Don’t you just giggle when you look at this cute little baby holding the umbrella? These cards took me about 10 minutes each to make, quick and cute! What do you think? I’d love to hear your comments!
Moon Baby is a classic stamp to have in your craft room. And combined with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, there are so many possibilities!
Remember. Sale-a-Bration only lasts until the end of this month, March 31 to be exact. I don’t want you to miss out on these fabulous Sale-a-Bration items! This is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year, and most of these items will not carry over after March 31. (The Celebrate You Thinlits Dies WILL carry over, but not the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes.) Get these while you can!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I love the simplicity of the baby cards. They are adorable. 🙂
I love “Moon Baby,” too! It’s my “go to” set for baby cards – how I wish they had framelits to go with them! Loved the way you paired it with the Tutti Frutti card bases.
