Today I have a fun birthday card for you with a rainbow panel of color! The Big on Birthdays stamp set has some wonderful large birthday sentiments. This sentiment is heat embossed in white on a piece of vellum which lays over the rainbow panel.
To make the rainbow, I simply sponged on the colors in stripes across the Whisper White card stock. I’m using some of my favorite retiring colors ~ Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder and Peekaboo Peach. Aren’t they beautiful together?
The base of this card is also Wild Wasabi, and for texture I added a bit of Pink Pirouette card stock embossed with the Basket Weave Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (available in the new annual catalog).
