Sympathy cards are, strangely, my favorite card to make. Why? Because this is the one occasion when a card is really needed – maybe the most important occasion. Even in this day of electronic communication, nothing is a substitute for a sympathy card at a very difficult time.

For today’s card I used the absolutely gorgeous Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. You don’t need much with this paper, it’s so pretty on its own! A bow using the Fresh Fig Ruffled Ribbon and a sympathy sentiment is just enough.

This sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set is one I use frequently for sympathy cards. It says it all. It’s been stamped in Fresh Fig ink and cut with one of the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.
