That sounds funny, doesn’t it — “chicken wire thank you notes”? But that’s what they are!!! I really like these Chicken Wire Elements and am trying to use them every chance I get!

For today’s card I cut a portion of one sheet of chicken wire and affixed it over a panel watercolored with Old Olive ink and an Aqua Painter.

The plaid “Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper” has both Old Olive and Night of Navy stripes, so I used those for my ink colors. The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy ink.

My goal was to create a farmhouse thank you card – what do you think? I love your comments. Let me know what you think!

It is fun to see a card made with the chicken wire element, Peggy! I like the way you used the Shimmery White paper for your watercolor panel, and also how you took the colors from the DSP to coordinate everything so nicely!
I have learned a lot from following your blog, and I am grateful. Hope you have a wonderful October day… this card is ideal for fall!
Hi Peggy – There is nothing I do not like about this card!
From the color combination, use of the chicken wire, the greeting and especially the use of the Aqua Painter. A perfect card…and another “gender neutral” ( got to’ be PC correct?) card I really like this!
Love everything about your card…..especially the chicken wire.
I bought myself a chicken wire die….absolutely love it and use it a lot.
Have a great day, Ann
Love the simplicity of this card and the colors, too. Great job!!
