Today’s project is an adorable Triangle Treat Holder for the holidays! It holds about 8 Hershey’s kisses and could also hold other small candies – or even jewelry!!! 🙂
One thing I really like about this cute box is the front lid flap. There’s a teeny tiny set of magnets that hold the flap down to the front of the box!
One tiny magnet is tucked under the designer series paper on the inside of the lid, and the other one is tucked under the paper on the front of the box. Adorable!
I got the idea for this box from my friend Julie DiMatteo over at the Paper Pixie! She has a fabulous video tutorial that gives every detail and every measurement, and it was very easy to follow. The link to her tutorial is HERE, and I highly recommend that you check it out!
The base of the box is an 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of Merry Merlot card stock. The designer series paper I used is Joyous Noel from our 2018 Holiday Catalog. Unfortunately it is no longer available ~ it was so popular it sold out! I happened to order several packages of it, so had enough to create these boxes. But any of our gorgeous designer series papers will work!
I’m going to make some of these to give to friends during the season. They would also be great for teacher gifts, or at each place setting on your holiday table! I think they are just adorable–thanks Julie for the idea!!
