Today’s project is an adorable Triangle Treat Holder for the holidays! It holds about 8 Hershey’s kisses and could also hold other small candies – or even jewelry!!! 🙂
One thing I really like about this cute box is the front lid flap. There’s a teeny tiny set of magnets that hold the flap down to the front of the box!
One tiny magnet is tucked under the designer series paper on the inside of the lid, and the other one is tucked under the paper on the front of the box. Adorable!
I got the idea for this box from my friend Julie DiMatteo over at the Paper Pixie! She has a fabulous video tutorial that gives every detail and every measurement, and it was very easy to follow. The link to her tutorial is HERE, and I highly recommend that you check it out!
The base of the box is an 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of Merry Merlot card stock. The designer series paper I used is Joyous Noel from our 2018 Holiday Catalog. Unfortunately it is no longer available ~ it was so popular it sold out! I happened to order several packages of it, so had enough to create these boxes. But any of our gorgeous designer series papers will work!
I’m going to make some of these to give to friends during the season. They would also be great for teacher gifts, or at each place setting on your holiday table! I think they are just adorable–thanks Julie for the idea!!
AVAILABLE STARTING TOMORROW DECEMBER 5, 2018!!
This is what you’ve been waiting for ~ a carry bag for your Stamparatus stamp positioning tool and all of the accessories! It’s beautifully made with lots of pockets to hold extra plates, grid paper, pads, everything!!
This is a great GIFT IDEA! Order one for yourself and one as a gift for your stamping friend! More details on the tote and Stamparatus accessories here.
I’d love to hear what you think of today’s project! Please leave me a comment!
Did you know that we have a NEW designer series paper available? It’s true! Stampin’ Up! has released a previously exclusive designer series paper to all of us – and it’s beautiful! I love it ~ particularly a pink/red Victorian-looking paper that’s part of the pack.
Aren’t these pretty papers? There’s even a green newsprint 🙂 The paper I used has our beautiful Cherry Cobbler as the basic color.
And there’s a little surprise inside this treat holder: a tiny Snicker’s bite! The treat holder itself was made using a 2″ x 7″ strip of the designer series paper, with the top and bottom edges punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
The little Snicker’s bite was glued down to the center of the strip and then the punched edges were pulled up together and tied in a bow with a piece of Very Vanilla Lace Trim.
The bronze Snowflakes & Stars Wire Elements from the Holiday Catalog are so pretty. I tied one on the front of each of the treat holders.
I’m going to make quite a few of these cuties to give out all through the holidays. Hopefully this gives you a little help for making your own treat holders! Be sure to get some of this pretty Dashing Along Designer Series Paper ~ you’ll love it!

And now, for our Guest Stamper!
Today I have a guest stamper for you! My friend Evey Borelli is a member of my team of Sweet Stampers, and she has made this adorable fall treat bag using the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. It’s a perfect little gift bag for this time of year!
This is a great time to get the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits – right now they are marked down 40%! What? 40% off? Yes, it’s true. They normally sell for $40 but are now on sale for only $24! Yippee!
Evey has used the Coffee Cafe stamp set and the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies to create the darling coffee cup, and she’s stamped the bag with the cute little coffee bean stamp from the set 🙂
To give a real fall theme to her card, she’s added some leaves using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. And she’s tied it all up with some Linen Thread! Isn’t this a darling project?
Please leave your comments for Evey ~ I know she’d love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by today! COME BACK TOMORROW FOR THE ONE-DAY SALE!!

So I just can’t stop having fun with these Silver Gable Boxes! They are great for spring get togethers! Just fill them with a few different candies and decorate the outside of the box.
I covered the sides of the Silver Gable Boxes with 2″ strips of the Springtime Foil Designer Series Paper (FREE until March 31st with your $50 order!). Some pretty Smokey Slate 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon and Lemon Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon were used together to tie a bow on the top of each box.
A pretty silver foil butterfly was cut using the Bold Butterfly Framelits. Mini Glue Dots were used to adhere the butterfly to the knot part of the bow. It looks like the butterfly is landing right on the bow 🙂 The sentiment is from the new Blossoming Basket stamp set (FREE with a $100 order now through March 31st). It was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink on a 1/2″ strip of Whisper White card stock, then the end was clipped with scissors to form a flagged end. The sentiment strip was then attached to one of the tails of the bow with a mini clothes pin!
What are you going to use these cute boxes for? Teacher’s gifts? Gifts on the Easter table? Goodies for friends? They are so much fun!!

I’m back today with a video tutorial on how to make these quick and easy gift boxes! I showed you one of these darling little boxes the other day on the Pals Blog Hop HERE. I’m personally making a bunch of these for my holiday gifts and I was thinking you might like to make some too! Here’s the video:
The foil paper takes this box from ordinary to FABULOUS! Stampin’ Up! has a nice selection of foil papers (gold, silver, copper), but I personally love this Champagne Foil. And when you run the piece on the top of the box through the Big Shot with the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder, it really creates a WOW factor!
In addition to the Champagne Foil Box, I’ve also made another box using Cherry Cobbler card stock and panels made from the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (4 panels 1-3/4″ x 2-3/4″). The top of this box is a piece of Whisper White card stock cut to 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ and embossed with the same embossing folder. AND, you can get this embossing folder FREE from me!
Free Embossing Folder!
Place an order for $75 or more in my online store, and use my Monthly Host Code for November QHJE9JVE, and you will receive from me as your FREE GIFT the Stampin’ Up! Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder used in the box above! This embossing folder will add beautiful texture to all your holiday projects! CLICK HERE to learn more!
Yesterday I told you that I would show you some other ways to use the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies. Here they are, birthday pillowboxes! Aren’t they nice? I mean, truthfully, they are floral treat holders, but in my mind I’m thinking of gift cards and birthdays! 🙂
Now if you remember, these little cuties are made using dies from the Holiday Catalog, Interesting, right? This just shows you that Stampin’ Up! products are so versatile! These dies are not simply for the holidays, you will use them all year round! The pretty floral paper is the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack. This paper comes in a 6×6 pack and is perfect for making one pillowbox!
The squiggly arrows above point out for you two additional dies in this set: the stitched heart and the little strip of hearts. I’m going to use that heart alot! There are 19 (!!!!!) dies in this set! I also highlighted for you the pretty ribbon used on this pillowbox.
Here’s what I’ve been working on this weekend…more holiday pillowboxes!! These are for a craft fair in November. For these I added some gift tags stamped with the Merry Little Labels stamp set and then punched with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch.
