Darling Valentines for Little Ones!

Children's Valentines Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

Today I’m showing you the Valentine cards I made for my niece and nephew. They are little, ages 2 and 5, and I know they are going to love getting these in the mail 🙂 There are two cards, one for a boy and one for a girl.

Dinoraur Valentine Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

My nephew loves dinosaurs, so the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper is perfect. I chose to use one of the papers that had pinks and reds for Valentine’s Day. This card is easy to make, as you simply cut out one of the dinosaurs with Paper Snips and adhere him onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp a piece of Whisper White card stock with the sentiment from the From My Heart stamp set using Lovely Lipstick ink. Punch out the sentiment with the smooth heart punch in the Heart Punch Pack. Punch another heart from Pool Party card stock using the same punch. Glue them together at an angle using Multipurpose Glue, then attach them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Little Ladybug Valentine Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

For my niece I made a ladybug card…and of course she had to have pink wings!! For this card I used the Little Ladybug stamp set and Stampin’ Blends. It was so much fun to color! A piece of Lovely Lipstick card stock was punched with the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. A piece of Whisper White card stock was stamped with a sentiment from the From My Heart Stamp Set and then punched out with the smooth heart punch. The hearts were glued together with Multipurpose Glue and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’m SO excited for my niece and nephew to receive their cards!!

The Best Ever “Love” Card!

Valentine Amour Card Stampin' Up! by Pretty Paper Cards

It’s the month for love, amour, and romance — and today’s card is perfect! You can use this card for Valentine’s Day, weddings, anniversaries, or any loving event 🙂

Valentine Amour Card Stampin' Up! Peggy Noe

The standout on this card is the heart made of different colored strips of card stock. Here I’ve used Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Lovely Lipstick, and Cherry Cobbler.

Pretty Pointer:  To create this heart, start with a 4-1/4″ square of any color card stock (I used Whisper White). Cut 1″ x 4-1/4″ strips of the colors you want in the heart. Adhere the strips horizontally across the square with Multipurpose Glue. When dry, cut with one of the large hearts in the Stitched Be Mine Die set.

Parisian Amour Valentine Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

This card uses the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper that’s FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. Are you asking where is that Golden Honey paper? Well, it’s the black and white stripe! All of the Golden Honey dsp is backed with a black and white pattern and I love it!

On top of the striped layer is a smaller piece of Vellum card stock that has been embossed with the Scripty Embossing Folder. The heart was then adhered to the Vellum using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Some leaves and sprigs were punched and tucked under the edges of the heart. The “amour” sentiment was cut from Whisper White card stock using the gorgeous Parisian Dies. And some tiny hearts were cut using one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine Die set. I glued them arbitrarily around the card and then added some From My Heart Faceted Gems.

This is one of my favorite cards in a long time. I hope you like it too!

Vintage Valentine with a Video Tutorial!

Very Vintage Merci Card by Peggy Noe

Welcome and thank you for stopping by today! Hope you’re ready for a fun Vintage Valentine, because that’s what I’ve been working on! I demonstrated how to make this card last Friday on my Facebook Live. I’ve edited the video and have it below for you!

The Buffalo Check stamp set adds a nice contrast to the red on this card. It’s one of my “basic” stamps, one I can always reach for 🙂

And the Parisian Dies have two great word dies: both “merci” and “amore.” You could use either one. I chose to use “merci” because I have some thank you’s to send to my customers 🙂

Parisian Flourish “Love” Card!

Parisian Flourish Stampin' Up! by Peggy Noe

Today i want you to see the beautiful Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder! It’s part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite and I LOVE it! For today’s card I’ve really tried to show you how pretty it is 🙂

The hearts and the white panel of today’s card are all embossed with the Parisian Flourish folder. On the hearts I’ve sponged color with a sponge dauber to really show off the embossing. On the Petal Pink hearts I used a sponge dauber to add Petal Pink ink, and on the Cherry Cobbler heart I added White Craft ink.

There is a small panel of Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper peeking out on the right side. This paper is gorgeous! In fact, everything in the Parisian Blossoms Suite is fabulous. There are so many more items in this suite ~ you can see them below. If you want to get all of the items, you can order the Parisian Blossoms Suite Bundle!

The sentiment was cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock using a die from the Well Written Dies. The word is adhered with tiny dots of Multipurpose Glue to a strip of Whisper White card stock punched with the Classic Label Punch. The whole thing was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Honey Bee Mine Valentine!

From My Heart Valentine Card by Pretty Paper Cards

Hello there and thank you so much for stopping by today! Today’s card is a darling Valentine that combines both the Honey Bee Bundle (stamp set and dies) and the beautiful From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The cute little bee from the Honey Bee set was stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut out with the coordinating Detailed Bee Dies. It was then colored with Daffodil Delight and Real Red Stampin’ Blends.

From My Heart Valentine Card by Peggy Noe

The sentiment was created using the Make a Difference stamp set. This set has individual letters of the alphabet that you combine to form words. The letters were stamped in Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock and trimmed to form the words. They were lifted with Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of a heart from the Designer Series Paper which was punched out with a punch from the Heart Punch Pack. This heart was then adhered to a Heart Doily.

Hearts and Bees Valentine by Peggy Noe

Under the Heart Doily are two Whisper White squares cut using the Stitched Shapes Dies. The Heart Doily is attached to the smaller of the stitched squares, and the smaller square is adhered to the larger square using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then that square is again adhered with Dimensionals to a square cut from Real Red cardstock.

Tucked in between the two stitched squares is a panel of heart frames cut out using the Stitched Be Mine Dies. This set of dies my favorite of all the dies that Stampin’ Up! makes! The die used here, with the panel of outlines/frames of little hearts, cuts out tiny hearts that are produced when you cut the outline! These are the little dies you see floating around on the background of all the photos~they are like confetti!! Fun!

The entire built-up heart square (?) was then attached on a card base of Whisper White card stock with a piece of the designer series paper used as background. Don’t you LOVE it? I think it’s just the cutest Valentine I’ve made in a long time 🙂

Sneak Peek: Sweet Little Valentine’s Day Banner!

Handmade Valentine Banner by Peggy Noe

Oh I just love hearts and lace and pink and red 🙂 I’m always so excited when our (spring) Mini Catalog comes out because it’s filled with all of these things, plus flowers!! You’re going to see so many gorgeous things over the next few months,

And we are going to start off with this sweet Valentine banner. It was created by punching out some hearts from the beautiful From My Heart Specialty Designer Paper. This paper is SO gorgeous with foil on one side of each sheet. And several of the sheets have hearts that fit the new Heart Punches perfectly ~ I love this coordination!!

(available January 3, 2020!)

Valenitine Paper Heart with Doily by Peggy Noe
Part of this new From My Heart Suite is Heart Doilies (doilies!! I love doilies!!). I’ve used them behind the punched hearts to give them a lacy look. And, another Sneak Peek: a new Small Bloom Punch that you can get FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a minimum order. Here I’ve used the punch with more of the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.

(available January 3, 2020!)

The banner is created using the new Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon. The hearts are attached to the ribbon with tiny clothespins and the ends of the ribbon are attached to the branches of the wreath with the same clothespins.

Handmade Paper Flower on Wreath by Peggy Noe

For this wreath I’ve also added a few paper flowers just for fun! They were made using Real Red and Flirty Flamingo card stock punched with Scalloped Circle Punches. Punch a few circles of each color, spritz with a bit of water or alcohol, scrunch into little balls and let dry. When dry, unfold and layer the pieces on top of each other. Piece through the stack with a Paper Piercing Tool and secure with a little brad. Clip the flowers onto the wreath with tiny clothespins.

Valentine Wreath with Paper Hearts by Peggy Noe

Some of you know that I have this wreath on a barn door at the entrance to my craft room. Every little while I change the decorations, with the seasons. And since Christmas is over….it’ time for HEARTS!!
