Today I want to show you a new set of dies that I think are absolutely fabulous! This die set, the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, are some of the most versatile I’ve ever seen! There are 16 (count them…16!!!) dies in this set. In fact, they are so amazing I made a video to show you:
Pretty neat, right? Here is a close up of one of the cards I demonstrated in the video.

Welcome to the Pals monthly blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here! January is all about making “Art from the Heart,” featuring projects for Valentines Day, Thinking of You, Get Well, or Sympathy. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The theme “art from the heart” makes me think of a card ~ made with love ~ for a special person! I made today’s card for a special friend who gave me a teapot from Russia. We enjoy having tea together (and also coffee). When I saw the Tea Together stamp set I knew right away that I would use it to make a card for her 🙂
This is such a sweet stamp set! The coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies were used to cut out the teapot and cup from the All My Love Designer Series Paper. I think they look like fine china!!
This card uses three different sets of dies, each one of the sets is amazing! The sentiment was stamped on layered hearts that were cut using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. The grouping of white hearts under the teapot were also cut with a die from that set. When you use this particular die, little hearts pop out from the outline hearts!
Aren’t these tiny hearts darling? These are going to be great to use as confetti inside the card. They are slippery little things, so I gathered them together with the Take Your Pick Tool 🙂
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 13, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “It’s Time to Sale-A-Brate” projects. Don’t miss the fun!
YOU do make me happy! My blog readers are very special to me, and I thank you so much for stopping by today! This sentiment from the new Meant to Be stamp set is such a great saying for so many occasions. And today I’ve added it to a sweet little valentine!
The colors used on today’s card are from this week’s Global Design Challenge. I normally wouldn’t choose this combination, but as I worked with it I came to really like it!
The framelits in the new Occasions 2019 Catalog are so amazing! Each set has so many versatile pieces! For today’s card I’ve used two new framelits sets. One is the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, these come as a bundle with the Meant for You stamp set. The heart and it’s frame were cut with these framelits, and I found a darling little border flourish die in the set! I used it to cut the Pool Party card stock flourish that I’ve placed at the top and the bottom of the card. Isn’t it cute?? The other framelit set is Wonderful Floral. I used this set to cut all the leaves on this card.
Are you getting excited about all these great products in the new Occasions Catalog? I hope you’re keeping a Wish List and getting ready for January 3rd when you can order! Catalogs are already in the mail to my customers 🙂 If you aren’t one of my regular customers, just place an order of any size and I will get a catalog out to you right away!
Oh my gosh, look at this embossing folder! It’s G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!! I love it!! I thought the Tin Tile Embossing Folder was my favorite, and I do love it, but when I used this one – it was all over…favorite folder EVER!!!!
Today’s card is not hard. The products do all the work for you, starting with the brand new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I know that’s a bit of a mouthful so, just remember LACE! You are going to want to put this at the top of your Wish List! I’ll be using this folder a lot, you can be sure of that!
The sentiment is part of the new Forever Lovely stamp set. It’s one of the first sets I ordered. This sentiment is so nice for a birthday, and is versatile enough to be used for other occasions. Here it’s stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink and then cut out with one of the Layering Circles Framelits. Another framelit, just a bit bigger and scalloped, was used to cut Lovely Lipstick card stock. It was placed under the first circle so it just barely shows but is enough to add color.
Another new product, the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies, have a sweet little rose and leaf die, so I cut a few of those from Whisper White card stock and affixed them to the back of the sentiment circle. The bold Lovely Lipstick 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon makes a nice contrast against the Powder Pink paper.
The Forever Lovely stamp set at first sight appears to be a Valentine stamp set. But if you look closer you will see that it can also be used for birthdays and general love cards. This type of versatility really adds value to your stamp sets.
Mark your calendars for January 3 2019! That’s when the new Occasions Catalog will go live. In the meantime, get your Wish List ready!!
Today’s clean and simple Valentine card is a sneak peek of the Meant to Be Cling Stamp Set from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog. Here’s my Occasions Catalog video for a closer look at this and other new products!
This little heart stamp is just too cute! I LOVE the swirls and curls on the inside of the stamp (there’s even a die like this in the coordinating die set which I’ll show you another day!). The heart is stamped on Shimmery White paper using Cherry Cobbler ink. Then with an Aqua Painter a bit of water was applied to pull the ink toward the center and color the entire heart.
Here’s the banner from this week’s Global Design Challenge which inspired today’s card:
Don’t forget to stamp your envelopes! Here I’ve used another cute little heart stamp in the set to adorn my “envie”!

So I had a ladies brunch to go to yesterday and I decided to take each person one of these adorable little treat boxes! I filled them with candy hearts and set one box on each place. They loved them!
For the boxes I used the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. The boxes were cut with the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies. I’ve shown you these boxes before and really like them ~ they are for way more than Valentine’s Day!! You can use them to hold lots of small gifts or treats. I’m thinking a tea bag would fit really well too!
Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies Item No. 145653
This beautiful color I’ve used for the hearts is Berry Burst, one of my current favorite Stampin’ Up! colors. And the ribbon, oh my gosh, I love it, Metallic Edged no less 🙂 These boxes are seriously a snap to make, and I like being able to make a gift quickly, like a hostess gift. You will love them.
Thank you for stopping by today! I love your comments, please leave me a note and let me know what you think of today’s post 🙂
