From the new Wonderful Romance stamp set I’ve used this large floral and leaf stamp. It’s so pretty I just had to watercolor it!! First I stamped it onto a piece of Shimmery White card stock using Sahara Sand ink. This creates very faint lines which give you the borders for watercoloring. (It’s called borderless watercoloring.)

Using an Aqua Painter, I gently applied color and a bit of water to “color in” the stamped image. It was fun to use different shades of green to create depth. The colors are Granny Apple Green and Old Olive ink. The larger flowers are watercolored with Gorgeous Grape ink, and the tiny flowers in Petal Pink.

This stamp set has the cutest little stamp with tiny dots. I’ve stamped it all around the leaves and flowers ~ truthfully, I was having so much fun I just kept stamping those little cuties!!
