Today’s card is so fun! It’s made for the theme challenge over at Global Design Project ~ “Sweeter Than Candy.” Who can resist creating a card that’s sweeter than candy???

It made me think of a wonderful grande peppermint mocha at my favorite coffee shop 🙂 And the Coffee Cafe stamp set was just what I needed! For the “grande” coffee cup I used some How Sweet it Is Designer Series Paper. And of course we need some swirly whipped cream which is Whisper White card stock run through the Big Shot with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Doesn’t it really look like whipped cream?

The cup is set on top of a watercolored panel of Shimmery White card stock. I roughed up the edges and added some specks of ink to give it a shabby look. This was then placed on a Whisper White card base with a piece of Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. 

The sentiment from the Detailed With Love stamp set is just perfect for this card! It is heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a strip of Gorgeous Grape card stock. The ends of the strip were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch on alternating corners. Some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Iridescent Sequins finish off this yummy card 🙂
