You would expect a sunflower to be yellow or orange and black, wouldn’t you? But today’s card is different! Here I’ve used Coastal Cabana and Petal Pink with the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle to create a different kind of sunflower!
The standout on this card is the large Petal Pink die-cut sunflower adhered over a Square Vellum Doily. I love the light lacy look! In the center is a small sunflower stamped in Petal Pink ink on Whisper White card stock. The sentiment was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink on Petal Pink card stock and carefully fussy cut.
This bundle is just amazing. It could be my favorite bundle in this year’s Annual Catalog! If you don’t have this bundle, you absolutely must get it! And if you have it, I encourage you to try out some unexpected colors!
A 1/2″ strip of Petal Pink card stock placed above and below the sunflower really brings the sunflower and the sentiment into focus. This card can be used for all types of occasions: birthday, graduation, engagement, retirement, etc.!
