Handmade Christmas card using Stampin' Up! Warm Hugs Stamp Set by Peggy Noe of prettypapercards.com #christmascard #warmhugs

More holiday card ideas! Today’s card is quick and easy. All you need to do is choose your favorite holiday color! I’ve used Real Red, but you could use a green or blue…or my favorite – pink! (Pink can be used for holiday cards!) Start with a card base of your favorite color, 8-1/2′ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4.”

Add a piece of Whisper White card stock embossed with a pretty embossing folder. Here I’ve used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, very lightly sponge the top of the Whisper White piece with a Sponge Dauber, using the ink that matches your card base. Adhere this layer to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.

Punch a circle from Real Red card stock (or your color of choice) using a 2″ Circle Punch. Cut a branch of leaves from a coordinating green card stock using the Forever Flourishing Dies. Here I’ve used Just Jade card stock. Adhere the circle to the lower right side of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tuck the base of the leaves under the circle and adhere with dots of glue. Stamp the sentiment from the Warm Hugs stamp set on a 1/2″ piece of Whisper White card stock using Real Red ink. Clip a flagged end on the right side of the strip using Paper Snips. and adhere the strip to the circle with Multipurpose Glue.
