Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! Woo-Hoo! My favorite things, how fun is this? Well, my favorite color is pink, so let’s start with that 🙂 And I’ve been really liking the colors red and pink together, so I made my card Real Red and Polished Pink.

One of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog is the Sweets & Treats Stamp Set. It’s retiring soon (which makes me sad), so I wanted to use it. I love the little cupcake stamp! I heat embossed it on Basic White cardstock and colored the cupcakes in with Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends. These are definitely CHOCOLATE cupcakes ~ another favorite! And each cupcake has a red rhinestone on the top, like a cherry! The cupcakes are sitting on a piece of Basic White cardstock cut with the Encircled in Beauty Dies, and backed with a circle of Polished Pink cardstock.

And who doesn’t love a pretty little pillowbox? This one is tied with a red bow and decorated with a cupcake! My projects today feature 2 new items from the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog: the Gingham Embossing Folder, and Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon. I love the fabric of this ribbon, it’s lightweight and very easy to tie!
