Handmade card using the Ranunculus Romance stamp set by Stampin' Up! created by Peggy Noe of Pretty Paper Cards #ranunculusromance #stampinup #stampingup #peggynoe #prettypapercards

This is one of my favorite stamp sets in the new Mini Catalog. It’s called Ranunculus Romance. But, seriously, what is a “ranunculus”? Well, I looked it up, and it’s a flower also known as a buttercup. It’s a beautiful flower, and the stamp set it also beautiful with vintage script, postage images, and everything you need to create a gorgeous card!

Layered on the Blushing Bride card base is a piece of Basic White cardstock stamped with the script and the postage stamps. Stamping off (stamping once on a piece of scrap paper and then on your cardstock) creates the faint background for the rest of the card. Here I used Crumb Cake ink.

So I had to include some sweet little envelopes made with the Sweet Hearts Dies. I absolutely LOVE these little envelopes! Here I used some of the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper because it’s so pretty 🙂 Two of the little envelopes hold ranunculus stems, one stamped in Blushing Bride ink and one stamped in Polished Pink ink.

The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on Real Red cardstock, and cut with a dies from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder dies.
