Today’s card has a fun background I’m calling a “layered” background. It’s created with the Splendid Thoughts Bundle that is just full of gorgeous leaves and blooms.

The card base is made from Pear Pizzaz cardstock. The eight branches of blooms were stamped on Pear Pizzaz cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then cut with the coordinating die. The branches were then adhered arbitrarily to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The rest of the card was then built on this multi-layered background.

A piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the large leaf stamp in Orchid Oasis ink, and then punched out using the Decorative Circle Punch. This piece was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals over Soft Sea Foam Ribbon. Various die-cut leaves were then added, finishing with the white heat-embossed sentiment on an Orchid Oasis oval.
