Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is a Color Challenge. Using the colors Crumb Cake, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow, the Design Team has created some great projects that you will love. We hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
These colors are the perfect fall colors, and they prompted me to create a fun fall gingerbread house! The Sweet Gingerbread Bundle was just what I needed.
The house itself was stamped in Crumb Cake ink using the Stamparatus. The windows were colored with Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends to give the appearance of lights being on inside the house 🙂 There’s even a Cajun Craze fall wreath above the little door!
The house is set on a panel of Basic White cardstock that’s been cut with one of the Scalloped Contour Dies. The paper was colored with a Blending Brush and Mango Melody ink. Then some sweet little leaves from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set were stamped with both Mossy Meadow ink and Mango Melody ink. The leaves look like they are blowing in the wind!
On top of the scalloped piece is a window frame cut from a piece of the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper with the Window Dies. Then some Linen Thread was tied around the piece and finished with a bow. Behind are layers of Rustic Harvest paper on a card base of Cajun Craze cardstock.
More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on November 9th when the theme will be Home for the Holidays.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
