Lovely Lacy Christmas Card!

Did you know that you can use almost anything to create a card? It’s fun to pull in unexpected items when creating. For today’s card, I wanted something lacy and pretty, and when I looked at the Delicate Details Treat Boxes I saw the lace that I wanted!

I really didn’t want to cut up one of these pretty bags, but in order to get that lace I had to! I cut off the front piece, trimmed it down, and adhered it to a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock.Whatever you put behind the lace is going to show through and be a big part of the card.

The card base is made of Evening Evergreen cardstock with a piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper adhered to the front. Real Red Ribbon was wrapped around the lace and Blushing Bride piece before it was adhered to the card base.

The sentiment is from the new Framed & Festive Stamp Set (available 11/1/22), and the darling Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls which will also be released on 11/1/22 were “sprinkled” around for some bling 🙂

Gold Glimmer Paper was punched out with the Bough Punch to create leaves to slide in behind the bow. These leaves make the whole bow and sentiment element so full!
