This is a fun card with a fun fold and Easter eggs! The Nested Friends Bundle has a die with three cute eggs that are perfect for Easter.
The fold on this card is called the Bookbinding Fold. You can find out exactly how to make it by watching the video tutorial below.
The card base is 11″ x 4-1/4,” and scored at 5-1/2″ and 6-1/2.” Fold the card in half at the 5-1/2″ score line, and glue down the 1″ section. That allows the card to open like a book! Add a 1″ x 4-1/4″ piece of designer series paper to the 1″ panel. Then decorate the front of the card.
A 4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Parakeet Party cardstock was adhered to the front of the card. Then a 3-3/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the darling nest stamp. A few leaves and buds were colored with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. Then the eggs were die cut from various colors of cardstock and adhered to the inside of the nest.
The sentiment is also from the Nested Friends stamp set. These little Easter eggs are bound to cheer up anyone!
