Today’s project is a cute little birthday booklet that opens up like an accordion. You could make it as a memory book or a photo book, too!
The booklet base is created with four (4) 3-3/4″ x 5″ rectangles held together with three 2″ or 2-3/8″ punched or die-cut circles. Any size circle, 2″ or above, will work. I used the punch below, and I used the Circle Sayings Stamp Set to decorate the booklet.
To learn how to assemble the booklet, please watch the video tutorial below:
To decorate your booklet, cut out eight (8) pieces of coordinating designer series paper 3-3/4″ x 5,” and glue them on the front and the back of each of the white rectangles. BUT, don’t adhere the paper to the back of the last page until you put a piece of ribbon across the back and adhere it with strong adhesive (I used Tear & Tape). The ribbon should be long enough to pull around to the front and tie in a bow – this holds the little booklet together!
You can then decorate each page in any way you like. I coordinated my designer series papers with my cardstock colors so that everything matched. This is what Stampin’ Up! is known for. The colors in the designer papers match exactly with the cardstocks and inks and ribbons, etc. That’s what I really love about Stampin’ Up!!
