Today I’m thinking about fall, it starts in just a few days here. Apples are always part of fall…apple crisps, apple cider.
The Apple Harvest Stamp Set is perfect for a fall card. The apples in this set are pretty realistic and you can either color them in or simply stamp them. For today’s card I’ve chosen to color the apples with Stampin’ Blends, and cut them out with the coordinating Apple Blossom Dies.
These dies do so many things, and not just cut out apples. I really like the scalloped edge die and the label die and I’ve used both of them on this card. The best thing about this set is that it ON SALE right now!!
Here’s the vide tutorial showing you exactly how to make this card:
One of my favorite things about this card is the pretty Tartan Foil Specialty Paper. It comes in several colors but for this card I’ve used the Lost Lagoon pattern. On top of the Poppy Parade card base is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Tartan Foil with the dark side up. Then a 4″ x 3″ piece of the white side of the foil was cut on the lower edge with the scalloped die.
Behind the apples is a vellum circle punched with the 2″ Circle Punch. There are nine leaf dies in this die set and I’ve cut them all out with Gold Foil and sprinkled them around the card.
The end result is a lovely fall apple card that you can send to any friend!

Peggy, I love this pretty fall card. When I see the half of an apple with the seeds looking down, I think it is having a bad day! Too funny! After you see the seeds as eyes, you can’t not see them. At least that is how I see them. So funny! Enjoy your day!
