Today’s card is a fun and bright birthday card. Birthdays happen all year round, and I love to have nice cards ready to send.
This card uses the Curved Occasions Stamp Set that’s retiring soon. And, it’s on sale! What’s better than that? There are fun images in this set that you don’t find in other sets: like the disco ball…where have you seen a disco ball stamp? And the roller skate, the bouquet, and the convertible…but my very favorite stamp here is the tall cake. I LOVE IT!!
Today I’m showing two versions of this card. Both use Lemon Lolly and Tahitian Tide cardstock, and sheets from the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (one of my faves in the Annual Catalog!).
The version above uses a rectangular Scalloped Contour Die to set off the cake. The other card uses the Deckled Circles to highlight the cake.
I really like word dies, and the Wanted to Say Dies are ones I’ll be keeping for a long time. Using die-cut words makes cards easy! Just pop those words on there and you have a great card! There’s so much you can do with these dies.
These two cards are ready for me to send out! What about you? Do you have some birthday cards ready to go? These are great products to create lots of birthday cards!
