It’s true, this is my NEW FAVORITE stamp set. It’s called Cake Fancy and it’s so cute and easy to use. This card was a snap to make!

Why do these stamps make such a great card? They are “Distinktive” stamps. They are special stamps made by Stampin’ Up! and they create different shadings within each. stamp. For example, that’s why the berries on the cake have such different shading!

For this card I made what looks like a cheesecake 🙂 Doesn’t it look yummy? Lemon-Lolly ink on the stamp created the cheesecake and the berries were stamped with Berry Burst ink.

The paper with the stamped cake was cut with the Deckled Circle Dies. It’s centered on a piece of Berry Burst Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper. The card base is Lemon Lolly cardstock. I just love these colors together!
