This is one of my favorite stamp sets. It’s called Cake Fancy, and it’s so cute and fun and the cake is so yummy looking! Actually, I’ve made it so it looks like a cheesecake…my favorite 🙂 This set is carrying over to the new Annual Catalog, so it’s going to be with us for another year!
It seemed like a no brainer to use Lemon Lolly cardstock and ink on this card. The other color used is Berry Burst, for the berries on the cake, of course! The cake is stamped on Basic White cardstock and cut out with one of the Everyday Details circle dies.
The inspiration for my card is this week’s Global Design Project Challenge: sweet treats!Â
Behind the cake circle is a piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. This particular design of Lemon Lolly stripes is one I really like. Behind that is a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock cut with one of the Perennial Postage Dies.
This stamp set has some adorable little flowers, and I’ve added them around the bottom of the cake. A few Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins were placed around the card for sparkle!
