The Simply Zinnia Bundle is just fabulous. This is an Online Exclusive and not found in any catalog. I love Online Exclusives because they’re like surprises! They are cool and different and always fun. This particular Bundle is truly pretty.
Today I want to show you a new Stampin; Up! neutral color that I’m just loving, it’s called Basic Beige. It’s modern looking, don’t you think? Here it’s combined with Berry Burst. They look fabulous together – it could even be my new favorite combination!
The Zinnia Bundle is a must have in my opinion. I know there are lots of flower stamp sets, but some just stand above the rest, and this is one of those. On this card, the large flower was “stamped off” and then stamped arbitratily on the Basic Beige piece. “Stamping off” means that you place the stamp on the ink and color it full strength. Then you stamp once on a piece of scrap paper – this is the “stamping off.” So when you actually stamp on the cardstock, the ink is lighter than it would normally be. Sometimes this is also called “second generation.”
A 3″ x 4″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock was adhered under the upper-left corner of the stamped piece. The large zinnia was die cut three times using Berry Burst cardstock. Each flower was adhered over the other with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves were die cut from Basic Beige cardstock and then lightly colored with Berry Burst ink using a Blending Brush.
The little tag is darling! It’s from the Layers of Beauty Dies. And the “friend” sentiment is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set. I just combined lots of things I like!! Then to finish the card I’ve added some dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment 🙂
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
