NEW VIDEO: Watercolored You Are Beautiful Card!

Today’s card has a pretty watercolored background from the You Are Beautiful Stamp Set. This is a sweet stamp set with two leaf images and four sentiments.

The leaf stamps are pretty and make a beautiful background, especially when watercolored! Begin with a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. On a piece of plastic or acetate, spritz some water using a Stampin’ Spritzer. Then add a few drops of Lemon Lolly Ink Refill and a few drops from a Petunia Pop Ink Refill.

Lift the plastic/acetate and allow it to run all over, covering the plastic. Set it down and ink up the stamp with the mixture on the plastic/acetate, then stamp onto the Watercolor Paper. Stamp onto the Watercolor Paper twice with the large leaf image and twice with the small leaf image.

Set aside to dry. Cut some leaves from Lemon Lolly cardstock and some from Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Here I’ve used some dies from the Online Exclusive Changing Leaves Die Set which will be released on July 3rd. (You can get this Bundle now with a Starter Kit!!)

The sentiment from the You Are Beautiful set was stamped in Petunia Pop ink on Lemon Lolly cardstock and cut out with a label die from the upcoming Changing Leaves Die Set. It was adhered on the watercolored piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals over a little bow of Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Three-Color Pack. The leaves were tucked under the sentiment and adhered with dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Fluid 100 Watercolor piece was adhered onto a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock and then adhered on a card base of Lemon Lolly cardstock. A few 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems were added for bling.
