Watercolored Layers of Beauty Card!

The Layers of Beauty Bundle is my favorite Bundle in the new Annual Catalog. Why? Well, because it’s gorgeous!! It’s true! I think it’s the prettiest Bundle in the catalog.

This Bundle is wonderful! It comes with a stamp set, a coordinating die set, and a set of coordinating masks – all of these three items are in the Bundle. The masks color the flower and leaves and add delicate detail to the flowers and leaves.

Although the masks are lovely and intricate, I wanted to watercolor the flowers. I stamped them on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and used Water Painters to gently color in the flowers and leaves with various inks. I really enjoy watercoloring with Water Painters, as you have much more control of the colors than in any other medium.

Even though it doesn’t really look like it, the light green panel was actually a piece of Basic White cardstock colored with a Blending Brush and a light layer of Garden Green ink. It was cut with a Deckled Rectangle Die, and then embossed with the Distressed 3D Embossing Folder 🙂
