How do you feel when you get a new stamp set or bundle? Excited, right? Well the other day the Friends for Life Bundle arrived on my doorstep and I was super excited!! Mostly because I love word dies, and this Bundle has a word die 🙂
Here’s a close up of what the “friend” die can do. I cut it from Lost Lagoon cardstock with an Adhesive Sheet on the back of the cardstock, and then cut the background word (I call it the “bubble”) from Petal Pink cardstock. (Watch the video to see how to use the Adhesive Sheets.)
Here’s the video tutorial:
Â
To create the background paper, I stamped a piece of Petal Pink cardstock with the leaf stamp in the Friends for Life Stamp Set. The stamp was first inked full strength with Lost Lagoon ink and then stamped once on a scrap of cardstock. After that it was stamped on the Petal Pink paper. This is called “stamping off” and gives a nice light appearance.
The leaf frame around the word die is from the Frames & Flowers Designer Series Paper. This package of paper comes with fun, punch-out leaves and flowers and frames. It makes it so easy to create a pretty card!

Peggy, your card is adorable. I love the bubble for “friend”. I have this DSP pack but haven’t opened it. Thanks for your inspiration. Enjoy your day!
