I love to stamp cakes. I like to eat cakes, but more than that I love to stamp them on cards (no calories!). Show me a stamp set with a cake in it, and I must have it!! So you know that I totally LOVE this Cake Fancy Stamp Set!

One thing I like about this set is that you can create whatever you want to. It’s kind of like you are in the kitchen and you can choose the cake you want to make! For this card I chose to make a big four-layer cake!!

The colors are from the Global Design Project Color Challenge for this week. They are really pretty together!

Set on the card base are two layers of cardstock that have been embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. The layers are offset, with the Pecan Pie layer about 1/4″ offset from the Basic Beige layer.

The cake itself was stamped four times with the rectangular cake stamp. A cute ribbon was stamped across the center of the cake, and some little flowers and branches were die cut with the Thoughtful Wishes Dies and laid across the top and bottom of the cake. Then Basic Beige and Pretty in Pink flowers were punched using the Petal Park Builder Punch, and adhered across the top of the cake. I love the way this cake turned out!

This verse from Proverbs 3:5-6 is a verse loved by people around the world. Trusting in God is so important today, and the Scriptures in this kit will encourage you and others to trust in God. They have encouraged me as I’ve worked on this class! These are the kind of cards you will want to send to your friends and family. YOU WILL LOVE THIS CLASS!

The class uses the “You Are Beautiful Stamp Set” which is a new one in the recently released Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It has a nice large stamp of Proverbs 3:5-6 that we will use over and over to encourage ourselves and others. The cards also use the “Deckled Rectangle Die Set,” and you will need these to complete your cards. The stamp set and die set are not included in your class kit, but you can add them on at a discount if you do not already own them.
