Today I have for you a very fun pop-up card – it has a surprise inside when you open it! Yeah! The best way to see how it really works is to watch the video below. That shows the fun of opening the card and having something pop up inside 🙂
The stamp set used on this card is the Hooray for Surprises set. Mostly I love the cake stamp in this set. I love cake stamps and cupcake stamps…why, I have no idea, but I do love them. Also, this stamp set has great sentiments for a birthday, both for the outside of the card and the inside.

Here is the surprise inside of the card. It’s the cake and a candle stamped on Basic White cardstock and punched out using the Modern Oval Punch. You have to create two of these ovals and glue them back to back. Then you put the one oval between the front and the back sections of the card so that it pops up when you open the card. Isn’t that fun?
The Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper used on this card is full of fun and celebration, perfect for a birthday card! Different sheets of this paper are used all over this card.
The circles have been die cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!
