Have you ever made a book-binding card? It’s an easy fun-fold card that you can make in a snap. The card base is 11″ x 4-1/4″ and scored at 5-1/2″ and 4-1/2.” Turn the card in a horizontal position and fold the card in half lengthwise, at the 5-1/2″ mark. You can see below where the other score mark is, one inch from the left fold.
Place some Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Tear & Tape under the 1″ fold and seal it up. Then you can lift the right front of the card and open it like a book! Place a piece of white cardstock inside the card.
This card uses a very cool Online Exclusive Bundle called Changing Leaves. It’s cool because it not only has a stamp set, but it comes with a hybrid embossing folder. That means it’s an embossing folder with dies that fit inside the embossing folder, so that you can cut and emboss at the same time – or you can use them each separately!
For this card I only used the embossing folder without the die inside. It shows off the pretty white embossed leaves. The green/Shy Shamrock leaves were cut out with the dies.
The sentiment was stamped and cropped with another one of the dies from this fabulous set! A little Baker’s Twine was tucked under the sentiment label.
You will LOVE this fun Bundle! Find it online on the Stampin’ Up! website under Online Exclusives HERE.
