The Poised Peony Stamp Set is one of my favorite in the Annual Catalog. It’s a gorgeous flower, and in the stamp set there are three different sizes of the flower so it will fit anywhere you like! Today I’ve watercolored one of the flowers on this card so that it stands out from the crowd!
For this card I stamped the largest peony all over a piece of Basic White cardstock using Peach Pie ink. Then I stamped three of the peonies on a separate sheet of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut them out with my Paper Snips Scissors.
Separately I stamped the same flower stamp on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using Versamark ink. I heat embossed the flower with white embossing powder and watercolored it with Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Garden Green inks. Then I fussy cut this flower also.
A piece of Peach Pie ribbon was placed around the stamped sheet. Then the sheet was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to a piece of To Market Designer Series Paper. The entire thing was adhered to a Garden Green cardstock card base. The fussy-cut flowers were then adhered on the sheet using Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the watercolored flower was given a prominent place!
To finish off the card, the sentiment was heat embossed onto a piece of Garden Green cardstock, fussy cut, and set over the ribbon. A few Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots were added.
