This little fun-fold dog card brings the biggest smile to my face! It is cuter than cute, and it’s easy to make – you can make it!

To make the dog card you need several sizes of hearts and the Hearts of Elegance Die Set has just what you need – 7 different hearts!

To create this card, cut an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Stampin’ Up! Basic Beige cardstock and score it at 4-1/4.” Fold the cardstock at the score line. Place the largest heart die in the set upside down with the pointed tip over the fold of the card, extending past the fold about 1/4.” Then run the card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut the card.

As you see in the video, the dog’s ears are made by cutting a Basic Black medium heart in half and using the halves as ears. A single large heart of Basic Beige cardstock was cut and adhered inside the card to cover the area where the ears were adhered. That way the inside of the card looks nice and neat.

The dog’s tongue is created with a little Real Red heart placed at the base of the inside of the card 🙂 So cute!

I just couldn’t resist making this dog into a girl and giving her a pink bow in honor of my little Elie! But of course, you can make your dog card any way you like.
