Today I have for you some baby cards made with the wonderful Sweet & Precious Stamp Set. This is really a beautiful set. These stamps are detailed and realistic, more than most. The giraffes are especially amazing, I can’t get over how beautiful they are.
Here I’ve made two slightly different versions of a dutch-door fold baby card. The card base is Balmy Blue cardstock which is a perfect color for a baby boy. The inside of the card uses a Pecan Pie piece of Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper. Gingham always reminds me of a baby 🙂
To learn how to cut the dutch-door card, please watch the video tutorial. The video will walk you through the entire creation of the card.
For one of the cards, the edges are straight and the sentiment fits on the front of the card. I’ve combined this stamp set with the Little Dreamers Set. The sentiment and the stars are stamps in the Little Dreamers Set.
For the other version I’ve used the Darling Details Dies to cut a Balmy Blue frame around the giraffes. Both versions are darling – mainly because of the gorgeous animal stamps!
