The Darling Details Stamp Set is just that – darling! It has sweet, curly flowers and leaves and great sentiments. It’s one of my favorites. And today It’s used on a fun-fold card.
This card is what I’m calling “card on card.” It’s a piece of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Basic White cardstock with a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Pretty Peacock Glorious Gingham paper glued on it. This forms the basis and the back of the card.
Then there’s a smaller card glued on the center of the back. This is the card on card and it measures 7″ x 4-3/4″ and is scored at 3-1/2.” On the front of this mini card, a 2″ x 4-3/4″ strip of the reverse side of the Glorious Gingham paper used on the backing is adhered about 1/4″ over from the left fold of the card. Then some – what I call half flowers – are stamped to the right of the gingham in Lost Lagoon ink. A 1/2″ x 4-3/4″ strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock is adhered 1/4″ to the right of the left edge of the gingham.
Here’s a video tutorial showing you exactly how to create this card:
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Lost Lagoon ink and punch it out with the smaller of the two ovals in the Double Oval Punch. You might want to stamp a half flower on the inside of the card and on the envelope.
