Have you ever created your own designer series paper? The Textured Floral Stamp Set is a perfect set to do that. For today’s card I’ve stamped some of the flowers from this set on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock to do just that.
The Textured Floral Stamp Set is a set of flowers, large, medium and small, and leaves. For this card I’ve just used the flowers and I’ve stamped them in three different colors: Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, and Lemon Lolly. They are stamped randomly all over the piece of Basic White cardstock. I’ve also used Crumb Cake ink, stamped off, to stamp the words from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set. This creates a really nice handmade designer series paper!
The Stamped With Love Stamp Set is one of my favorites. I love the mailbox! Here I stamped it using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and colored it in with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, and a Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend for the hole that is where you put the mail. I fussy cut the mailbox and adhered it on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I really did use quite a few stamp sets to create this card. The cute little envelopes and the sentiment are from the Just My Type Stamp Set – anther one of my favorites. I find little stamps that I love, like this cute little envelope stamp – and I use it on cards with other stamp sets! 🙂
I hope you give it a try – make your own designer series paper, and then decorate your card!
