Square cards are so much fun to make. They’re different, and today’s card is like a square card squared 🙂 For the design I’m using this week’s Global Design Project Challenge, and it has four squares on a square card! Fun!
The little squares are cut with my favorite Stylish Shapes Dies. I love the stitching on each square. The cupcakes are from the Circle Sayings Stamp Set and they are just SO cute! Here they are stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and colored in with Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. To create the white dots on the cupcakes I used a white gel pen (from Amazon). I think the white dots look so good on the cupcakes,
The word “happy” is cut with the Wanted to Say Dies. By using just the word “happy” the card can be a birthday card or a holiday card.

I didn’t know we could use Stampin blends when we stamp with regular ink. I thought we had to use something like Memento. Is there any special technique I need to know to do this?
Thanks for sharing this card. I love it!
