This is an interesting card! I’ve used lots of products to create the poppy bouquet, especially the Sunny Days Designer Series Paper. This paper – which is free during Sale-a-Bration with a minimum order – has one pattern that is covered with pretty poppies! It’s a bit of a surprise as you look through all the other designs in the paper pack. I cut a few of the poppy flowers out with my trusty Paper Snips Scissors and adhered them onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inspiration for my card is this week’s color challenge over at Global Design Project. The colors are a bit unusual and interesting, and really were a challenge especially for this “subtles” girl!
This card was so much fun to make…why? Because I got to use so many wonderful products!! Can you spot some of them? The large Poppy Parade cardstock piece was cut with the Scalloped Contour Dies. Inside that is a piece of Gray Granite cardstock cut with the Perennial Postage Dies and stamped with the Notes of Nature background stamps.
The tall foliage pieces were watercolored on Fluid 100 paper and then cut with the Painted Lavender Dies. Some additional Lost Lagoon leaves were cut using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies and added to the bouquet.
The sentiment is from the Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set (in the Sale-a-Bration Catalog). It’s been heat embossed on a background pattern from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (another Sale-a-Bration item) and cut out using the Perennial Postage Dies.
Only offered during January and February of this year!

This is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I agree with Amy M, who said the card is absolutely gorgeous! I love all of different elements you used to make this wonderful collage. It has so much texture and interest. Love it, Peggy! Enjoy your day!
So much gorgeousness!
This is amazing! When I looked at the photo on Stampin Pretty Pals Sunday collection, I just saw more and more elements every time I came back to the photo. Then I came to your blog to see what you did:). I would have never thought so many products on 1 card could look so tasteful, but you did it without us even realizing it. This is the first card I have seen placing one of the larger contour scalloped dies on the diagonal!
This card is so stunning! I have looked all over your You Tube channel and can’t find a video for this. Did you do one? I really wanted to see how you did the watercolor floral elements!!
