Gorgeous Detailed Dogwood - Only Available Until Feb. 29!

The Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set is just beautiful! It’s definitely the prettiest stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration selection, and it creates gorgeous cards! In addition to the dogwood flowers, there are other fun stamps to use on your cards. And the best thing about this stamp set is that it’s FREE!

For today’s card I’ve used Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers to color the dogwood flowers and leaves. Then I fussy cut them with my Paper Snips Scissors and layered them on top of some other things, a few of which are also FREE Sale-a-Bration items.

The card base is Basic White cardstock. Then a piece of Most Adored Designer Series Paper was adhered to the card front. A piece of Basic White cardstock was first cut with an edge die from the Gorgeously Made Die Set, and then embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration items).

Then the fun items were layered on! 🙂 A piece of Gold Foil punched with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch forms the basis of the decorations. Some hearts were created with the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. They were lightly colored with a Blending Brush and some Flirty Flamingo ink. Other hearts were punched from More Dazzle paper using the Bee Builder Punch. A bow was made from Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine (part of the Three Color Pack).

The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set. Some other images from the Dogwood set were stamped and cut and slipped in there to create more interest.
