Today’s card is a combination of retiring and new products. I’m sad about some items that are retiring, and I’m excited about ALL the new products, so I’ve combined them on this card. 

Ok, so what is retiring that is featured on this card? The Lazy Days Bundle is retiring. It has lots of cute elements that I love, especially this sweet little birdhouse! And I like the “welcome” sentiment. You don’t find that often, and It is a sentiment that is needed!

The card itself has a Basic White card base with another 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock that’s been cut with a rectangular Everyday Details Die. Behind this piece is a piece of the new In Color Designer Series Paper in Pretty in Pink (ok, my favorite new In Color!). I chose the striped pattern as it looks good as a background piece. Definitely put this In Color paper on your wish list for May 1st when the new Annual Catalog goes live!

Let me just say upfront, I love the Magnolia Mood Dies. In fact, I love the whole Magnolia Mood Bundle, but here I’ve just used the largest die. It makes a beautiful background piece. Here it was cut from Old Olive cardstock.

The sweet little birdhouse from the Lazy Days Bundle was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock and then cut with the coordinating die. I colored in the roof with a Dark Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker. It’s adhered to the Magnolia piece with a Stampin’ Dimensional and then a bow of Linen Thread was adhered to the top of the roof with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock (available May 1st) and then cut with a Stylish Shapes Die and adhered to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
