Welcome to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

Today is the FIRST Tic Tac Toe Challenge and I’m so excited you are here!!  This is our debut challenge and it is a fun one.  The tic tac toe board we are playing with is below. Each square is an element you can use when creating your card. Use any three elements/supplies on the board as long as the three elements you choose form a row, column or diagonal on the challenge board.

For my card today I used quite a few elements from the board. I’ll tell you about them below 🙂

The first element is heat embossing. I embossed the flamingo from the new Fabulous Flamingo stamp set using white embossing powder. I also embossed the sentiment in gold (another element). I have to say I love this sentiment and I am “tickled pink” about this whole stamp set!

The next element is stripes. I used a cute little stripe stamp from the new Tabs for Everything stamp set. And the stripes are set on a white (element) circle (element) and tied up with a bit of white baker’s twine (element). See how fun this challenge is? I just couldn’t help myself, I had to use as many of the elements as I could! When I look at the challenge board, my card makes the diagonals in both directions, the center vertical row and the top and bottom horizontal rows. You can tell I had fun 🙂

Why don’t you play with us? Just click the graphic above to go to the challenge website (tictactoechallenge.com) to enter your card! You can also see what the other designers have created ~ I can tell you their cards are beautiful!! Thank you for stopping by today and being a part of our first challenge!

  2. Tami Black says:

This is a really pretty card. Even though you are an over achiever and used a bunch of rows, it doesn’t look too busy or collagy for my taste. Nicely done!

  3. Peggy amazing. i love how you pulled all of the elements together. So soft and elegant.

  4. I LOVE this card! It’s a classic “Peggy Noe” original for sure! I love the way you incorporated the doily with the other elements. Doilies are something I really love, but struggle with using. Thanks for the inspiration. So glad we’re on a DT together again!

  5. Lovely job on this card!! You did strike a great balance in your use of the elements in your design!

  6. What pretty paper card, Peggy! I love your signature style…and it is so prevalent on this card. This challenge is going to be a lot of fun and I’m sure glad to be playing along with you!

    • Thank you Rosanne! I feel the same way about you! We’re going to enjoy it!🌸

  7. What a sweet and adorable card! Pink, gold, and embossing are all hard for me so I truly enjoy seeing how effortless you make it seem! All those fabulous elements and you’ve tied them together so perfectly!! Hugs!!
