Climbing Orchid is a stamp set that creates beautiful flowers. Combined with the Orchid Builder Framelits it’s a real winner! This isn’t a new stamp set but it’s new to me and I love it!

The photopolymer stamp set and dies have two sets of orchids, one small and one large, several different sizes of leaves, branches, and great sentiments. These are always the type of sets I’m drawn to — pretty images and sentiments that are in good fonts. Very versatile. You can use the sentiments with any image and that’s what adds to their versatility!

The orchids really steal the show here. They were stamped on Powder Pink card stock using Berry Burst ink, and then run through the Big Shot with the Orchid Builder Framelits Dies.

Pretty Pointer: The trick to bringing the orchids to life is to use a bone folder to round the edges of each orchid blossom downward from the center. You pull very gently with the card stock in between the bone folder and your finger. Do this to all the blossoms. Then sponge the centers (very lightly) and the edges of each blossom (with more ink and a firmer pressure) with a Sponge Dauber and the Berry Burst ink. You will love the results!

I used lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals to vary the height of the orchid blossoms and the sentiments. This is one fabulous set, I’m SO glad I got it! You’ll be seeing more of it for sure!

Oh My Goodness! This is the most beautiful presentation I’ve seen using this set. It just jumps off the card and even off the computer. You did an outstanding job with this. Anyone receiving this card will want to frame it (minus the glass to flatten it of course!) and keep it forever. I just keep going back and looking at it over and over.
Fabulous job!
Thank you so much Donna! It’s such a gorgeous set that it’s a pleasure to work with it. I appreciate your kind words!
Could I ask for some advice? I’m trying to decide the best way to make my branches on my card. This is my favorite bundle, even though it’s not sold as a bundle anymore. I’m still so glad I bought this when it was a bundle, but would have been worth every penny, if I didn’t get the 10% off. I’m currently making one in pinks, and one in yellows. I would love to learn from you. Thank you so much for sharing!
Gloria, I so agree with you, it’s a gorgeous set! You know, I forgot to put in that I used the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies for the branch. I’m sorry. There is a fabulous branch in that die set and I used some Crumb Cake card stock to create the branch. It worked well as I just arranged the three orchids on that branch. Hope this helps!
I have not tried this stamp set yet, even though I’ve had it for a while. You have definitely motivated me. Your card is beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
I have had this stamp set for a while, but have been too nervous about trying it. Yours is so beautiful. Now I think I’m ready. Thank you for sharing. And thanks for the tip about the Seasonal Layers Thinlits for the branch.
