Sympathy cards are important. For a card maker It’s one of the most significant types of cards we can send. Today’s card is for a friend who just lost a family member.

The sympathy sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, and it’s been stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut with the Stitched Label Framelits Dies.

Now you know that the new 2018 Holiday Catalog products will be available on Wednesday, September 5th. So I’ve used a few new products here. The background paper is the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies (for some of the leaves behind the sentiment). I’ve also added some Vellum leaves punched with the new Sprig Punch.

I just can’t wait until Wednesday when all these items are available!!! If you don’t have a catalog and plan to order, please let me know 🙂
And now for the Winner of Friday’s card!
On Friday I posted a card that said “Be Strong,” and 13 of you left a comment! I used Random.org to generate a winner and it is…..JEANETTE F.!! Yeah Jeanette! I will email you for your mailing address and I’ll get the card out to you right away!
Thank you ALL for commenting! I just love to read your comments!

Just pinned this card–and I don’t pin everything I see. Just the winners in my book! The Frosted Floral dsp really has won my heart! and all the accompanying dies, punches, etc you’ve used on this card 🙂
Thank you Marianne! I totally agree with you about this dsp!
Beautiful card, Peggy! Your design truly allows this stunning paper to shine and the soft embellishments add so much. I agree that sending sympathy cards is so important and meaningful for our friends that are grieving. And making a card by hand shows so much love and care. Your friend is blessed to have you.
Keep up the good work… you are very talented! ?
