Are you thankful for fall? I am, and I’m thankful for all of you, my blog readers! So I created this fun “thankful” card with some bright fall colors!

This card uses a watercolored panel stamped with most of the stamps in the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set available from Stampin’ Up! This is very simple watercoloring. Using a panel of Watercolor Paper, spritz it all over with a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water. Then stamp the different leaf stamps with various colors onto the paper. Blot with a tissue where you want the bleeding of the colors to stop. Let the watercolor panel dry or use a heat tool to dry it thoroughly before using. You can see the colors I used in the product list at the end of this post.

On top of the watercolored panel is a 2″ circle of Old Olive card stock embossed with the absolutely fabulous Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This is quickly becoming my favorite embossing folder!!

You might notice that I’ve “distressed” some of the panels of this card. I really like distressing parts of my cards. I happen to use a distressing tool that Stampin’ Up! used to sell 🙁 but sometimes I also use my fingernail or scissors. You can do the same thing to your cards!
