Today I have two gorgeous cards for you created by my friend and downline, Robin Daus! She’s an amazing crafter and I’m privileged to show you her cards. Today’s projects feature the Accented Blooms stamp set and the coordinating Tailored Tag Punch!
This card was created with Night of Navy card stock and ink. For the sentiment piece she’s used a Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad. To color the flowers she’s used a bleach technique.
The nice thing about the Accented Blooms stamp set is that it has five (5) different sentiments! Stamp sets that contain both images and sentiments are super versatile, that’s one reason this is such a good set.
And, don’t you love punches? Card making is so quick and easy with punches ~ just stamp and punch! This punch is different, it has angles and a modern look. If you like modern angles, this is the punch for you!
Here is the other card she made using Merry Merlot card stock and coordinating ink. She’s embossed the flowers with Copper Embossing Powder and put a strip of Copper Foil under the left side of the Merlot piece. She’s also added some Copper Metallic Thread.
You can see the the flowers on this card also have been bleached to lighten the card stock color. I have to say that I don’t know this technique, but wanted to show you Robin’s cards as they are SO pretty!
Please leave a comment below for Robin. I know she’d love to hear fro you!
Varied Vases is such a versatile stamp set ~ I love it! And I love it because it was designed by my friend Mary Fish 🙂 For today’s card I’ve created a whimsical floral design using three beautiful colors.
There are so many adorable leaves and flowers in this set. I chose a flower, a stem and a leaf and stamped them diagonally across a piece of Whisper White card stock. The sentiment was nestled near the flowers. This makes it more organic, as if it just belongs among the flowers!
The Whisper White piece was placed over a piece of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper in Melon Mambo. You will notice that the flowers are also stamped in Melon Mambo. This brings together the designer series paper and the flowers. A little bow made from reversible ribbon finishes off the card.
This is a card design that you can duplicate with many other stamp sets. It’s a great design for a quick card.

Today’s card is a sweet little thank you with heart 🙂 It’s easy to make and you can create several in advance to have on hand. I don’t know about you, but I never have enough thank you cards!
This card uses our Note Cards & Envelopes set which contains 20 precut notecards and envelopes all in one package! A 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (FREE during Sale-a-Bration) was glued on the front of the notecards with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
There are 3 die cut pieces on the front of each of the notecards, and you can cut all 3 at one time in your Big Shot ~ that’s what makes these cards so quick and easy to make! The photo above shows the layout you can use on the Big Shot. Here are the measurements and the dies:
3″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock cut with the “thanks” sentiment using the Well Written Framelits Dies
3″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Petal Pink card stock cut with the approximately 2″ stitched heart framelit from the Be Mine Stitched Hearts Framelits
4″ x 4″ piece of Vellum card stock cut with the largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Framelits.
Adhere the vellum circle to the card using the Multipurpose Glue. Then adhere the Whisper White sentiment to the heart using tiny dots of the same glue, and adhere the heart to the vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Basic Black Faceted Dot added just the right touch to each heart.
Oh my goodness, this Country Floral Embossing Folder is amazing! I don’t know why it took me so long to get it! It just came the other day and I used it right away.
What do you think the flowers are on the embossed panel? The Pineapple Punch card stock really shows off the flowers. I see a rose, maybe some impatients, and a mum? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think 🙂
Some Night of Navy Enamel Dots are scattered around as flower centers, and the pretty 1/2″ Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon is tied around the embossed panel.
Just above the ribbon, a die cut “thanks” from the Well Written Framelits is carefully attached with dots of Tombow Multipurpose Glue. The completed panel is adhered to a piece of Night of Navy card stock and then attached to a Whisper White card base.
Right now the only way to get this great embossing folder is by choosing it as a FREE gift with your order of $50.

Need some quick thank you cards? The Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper is just what you need! And it’s FREE now through the end of March!
To create this card, start with a card base cut from Whisper White card stock at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2,” scored at 4-1/4.” Cut a piece of Painted Seasons dsp cut at 5-1/4″ x 4″ and adhere it to the card base with Tombow Multipurpose Glue. Reverse the paper and cut a strip 1″ x 4.” Adhere the strip (with the coordinating paper facing up) about 1/3 down the front of the card. Stamp a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock with the “thank you” sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set.
This is such a great stamp set. It has sentiments in nice fonts…that’s always what I look for! I used Early Espresso ink for the sentiment. Then I punched the sentiment out using the Pretty Label Punch.
You can really use any of our beautiful designer series papers to create one of these cards. Stamp a number of the sentiments, punch them out, and have them handy. You can create some of these thank you cards in a flash! And don’t forget, this gorgeous paper is FREE with a $50 order!

Let’s make a simple card! Stampin’ Up! is encouraging us to create simple cards. They actually showed us a design very similar to this so I created my own card with their design! And, I have a video to show you how to make it!
Beauty Abounds is a beautiful stamp set with a great variety of stamps, and I’ve been having lots of fun with it! (Shh, don’t tell anyone, but for tomorrow’s Pals Blog Hop card I may or may not be using this stamp set!) The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.
These two colors are so great together ~ Soft Sea Foam and Gorgeous Grape. And I love the way the soft green supports the boldness of the grape. The wonderful thing about this design is that you can insert any sentiment, birthday, congratulations, anything! This is a very nice card to use over and over.
