NEW VIDEO: Create Easy Watercolored Fall Leaves!

Stampin' Up! Tidings All Around Leaves- Peggy Noe - stampinup

Hi there! Today’s card has a pretty watercolored leaf background that is SO EASY to make! You could use this technique for all your fall projects, and you could use different fall colors each time! Watch my video tutorial below and learn how to do it!

You know, I’m calling this leaves, but it’s actually a bundle of wheat and other dried fall crops. If you don’t mind though, I’m going to continue to say leaves 🙂 This gorgeous stamp is part of the brand new Tidings All Around stamp set, available on Sept. 4 when our new Holiday Catalog goes live. So what you’re seeing is a sneak peek!!

And these colors are SO PRETTY together!

The pretty watercolored panel is tied up with Copper Trim and some Leaves Trinkets. You could use anything for the sentiment. Here I used a thank you stamp from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. Do you have this set? It has oodles of small sentiments for every type of occasion. If you don’t have this set, YOU MUST get it. It’s a standard for every stamper.

Sneak Peek: Gather Together Thanks!

Stampin' Up! Gather Together Card - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Today’s card is a sneak peek of a few new holiday items. I’m so excited to show you these beautiful new products! So to start off, the cute little pumpkins and the sentiment are from the new Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set. They were cut out with the coordinating Gathered Leaves Dies. This is such a darling fall bundle!

Now these holiday items aren’t available to customers until September 4, 2019, but start your wish list because there’s SO MUCH you are going to love!!

Another new item you’re seeing on this card is the Frosted Frames Dies. These dies created the Soft Sea Foam frame and attached foliage you see above. I added some Vellum leaves punched with the Leaf Punch, and some Whisper White sprigs punched with the Sprig Punch. The pretty dotted paper inside the frame is a sheet of the new Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. Aren’t you getting excited?!?

Video Tutorial: Quick Thank You Notecards!

Stampin' Up! Woven Threads Notecard - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Want to make some quick thank you notes? The best way to do it is to grab a set of what I call “magic” Stampin’ Up! Notecards & Envelopes and begin creating. And that’ what I have to show you in my video today!

Here are the “magic” Notecards & Envelopes. What’s so special about them? Well, you don’t have to cut the card stock, for one! They come as 20 pre-made notecards and matching envelopes in a package. They are all cut and scored for you! And, they are made with thick card stock (think better paper). And, you don’t have to purchase the envelopes separately! This is great!

Now you could use any designer series paper. I chose the Woven Threads paper because I’m really liking it these days 🙂 You could leave off the die cuts and just have the sentiment, if you really want to simplify your thank you notes.

Punch the sentiment out using the Classic Label Punch. I always love a punch ~ quick and easy. That’s what we love, and that’s what helps these cards qualify as “easy” cards!

Pals’ July Blog Hop: Mixing It Up!

Welcome to the Pals’ July  Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects that are “Mixing It Up” –  adding texture that will really take your projects up a notch – or two! You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Stampin' Up! Free as a Bird Scripty Thank You - prettypapercards - stampinup

Today’s card uses my new favorite way to add texture to my cards ~ embossed vellum! When you put a piece of vellum inside an embossing folder and run it through your die machine, it creates a wonderful patterned surface that retains a soft version of the color underneath!

The new Scripty 3D Embossing Folder used on vellum gives just the right texture for this sweet family of birds. The 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of vellum is layered over a same-sized piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and adhered with Multipurpose Glue in the center.

Stampin' Up! Free as a Bird Script - prettypapercards - stampinup

The bird family from the Free as a Bird stamp set was stamped on a 4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and colored in with Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. A piece of the – absolutely gorgeous – Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon was tied in a bow around the left side of the paper, and a flagged-end banner was stamped with the “thank you” sentiment.

Lacy Pressed Petals!

Stampin' Up! Pressed Petals 1- Peggy Noe - stampinup

This card features the new Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper ~ oh my goodness, it’s so beautiful. It has lovely pressed flowers; and it’s simple yet with a fresh vintage feel.  I just have to say that this year our Designer Series Papers are out of this world!!

Here’s a video showing you the whole Pressed Petal Suite:

Today’s card starts with a Rococo Rose card base topped with a piece of the Pressed Petals paper. A double panel was created with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies: the larger piece is cut from Very Vanilla card stock, and that is topped with another piece of the Pressed Petals paper cut with a die one size smaller that the first one. I love this look!

Stampin' Up! Pressed Petals Lace - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Before adhering the double panel, a Pearlized Doily was watercolored with an Aqua Painter and Rococo Rose ink. Allow it to dry and adhere it to the center of the card with dots of Multipurpose Glue.

Cut a 1″ x 4″ piece of the reverse side of the designer series paper and adhere it across the lower portion of the card, over a bit of the doily. Tie a piece of Scalloped Lace Trim around the double panel, making a bow in the front. Adhere this panel onto the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut the “thanks” sentiment from Very Vanilla card stock using the Well Written Dies. Adhere the first three letters of the word “thanks” to the edge of the panel with a few dots of Multipurpose Glue. The rest of the word will be unattached. Add a few of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones!

Vintage Versailles Card and NEW Video!

Stampin' Up! Very Versailles Thank You - Peggy Noe - stampinup

Oh boy! I’m so excited to use this new Very Versailles stamp set today! To say I love it is a real understatement. It has so many elements that I like: the script word stamp, the Distinktive leaf stamp, the vintage frame stamp, and so on and so on!!! I’ve created a video for you so that you can see it all close up!

What do you think? Isn’t the card surprisingly easy to make? That’s what a good stamp set does, it creates a beautiful card with very little effort. The beauty is all in the stamps 🙂

As I mentioned in the video, this ribbon is so gorgeous! It’s deep and rich and shimmery ~ just what we love, right? It has Old Olive on one side and Pretty Peacock on the other.
