Why is this the last Sneak Peek? Because tomorrow the brand new 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog goes LIVE!! That means everyone can order ~ and there are SO MANY wonderful things to order!
This card showcases the absolutely beautiful Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. Two of the large sunflowers were cut from Whisper White card stock. The first one was tied onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock that was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon was used to tie the flower on. Then the second sunflower was cut in half and trimmed so that each half fit under the top and bottom of the tied flower. These halves were tucked under the whole flower and adhered with Multipurpose Glue.
The flower center was die cut from Whisper White card stock and adhered in the center of the flower with a Stampin’ Dimensional, and a bow of the Daffodil Delight ribbon was adhered on the center with Mini Glue Dots.
The sentiment was stamped on a strip of Whisper White card stock with Daffodil Delight ink, and the strip was adhered across the top of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today’s card is another Sneak Peek. The NEW Lovely You Bundle pairs beautifully with the Flowers for Every Season 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, and a fun Z-fold card shows them all off! I’ve created two cards for you so that you can see how the card looks in two different patters of the designer series paper.
Last Friday on my Facebook Live I demonstrated how to create this fun-fold card! Here’s the video tutorial:
As you saw in the video, the (modified) Z-fold card is easy to create. Here are the measurements for you:
CARD BASE: Whisper White card stock 1 piece 8-½” x 11,” cut in half at 4-¼” x 11”; score one half at 5-½” and score the other half at 2-¾” and 5-½” DESIGNER SERIES PAPER: 4 pieces: (1) 2-¼” x 3-¾” (2) 4-¼” x 5-½” (3) 4-¼” x 2-⅝” (4) scrap about 4” x 3” COLORED CARD STOCK: 2 pieces: (1) 4” x 2-½” (2) strip 1” x 3-½” WHISPER WHITE CARD STOCK: 2 pieces: (1) 2-¼” x 3-¾” (2) strip ¾” x 3”
People love to receive cards that are different and have interesting folds. You could use this card with any sentiment for any occasion, and the recipient will love it! (Personally, I’m just crazy about this sentiment…”wildly grateful” … from the Lovely You stamp set.)
Here’s a peek at the card completely opened up.

This is the 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper. Each new In Color comes in 4 different patterns in 6″ x 6″ sheets. This paper will be available with the new catalog and it’s so nice to use with the In Color card stock. I always get one of these paper packs when the new catalog comes out, it adds so many possibilities!
Here’s a close up of the card that could be used for a guy card. It’s just a snap to put together. I’m happy to have this on hand to pull out when I need a “non-frilly” card! 🙂 🙂

The Very Versailles stamp set is one of my favorites. And, I’m SO HAPPY that it’s being held over into the new Annual Catalog! I got so excited when I saw that it was staying another year, I just had to create a card!! 🙂
The front on this card has several layers: the first layer is a Crumb Cake card stock base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4.” The next layer is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock that has been dry embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, and then lightly sponged with Rich Razzleberry ink using a sponge dauber. Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Glue.
A 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock was stamped on the lower right side with the large script stamp and Crumb Cake ink. Then the beautiful branch/leaf stamp was stamped on the lower left side in Pretty Peacock ink. The leaves may stamp over the script, but that’s ok. The top portion of this piece was then gently torn off close to but not further than the stamped area. This was adhered over the embossed piece, again with Multipurpose Glue.
The little “Thank You” sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock using Pretty Peacock ink. It was cut out with the smallest little label die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered to the card using a Stampin’ Dimensional. This sentiment and the die are just so tiny and cute ~ I love them!!

Today I’m so grateful, thankful for many things. One of those things is that I am able to craft and use beautiful products to create cards that can bring a moment of joy to others 🙂 And this “So Grateful” card is a great card to send to friends during this time. I love the new Ornate Garden Suite and just can’t stop using it 🙂
I have two cards for you: one uses Granny Apple Green card stock and ink, and the other one uses the retiring Lovely Lipstick card stock and ink. Would you like to have a video tutorial that walks you through every step of making this card? Well, voila! You have one here today!!
Which color do you like best? The Granny Apple Green will be staying with us, but Lovely Lipstick is retiring on June 3rd and won’t be available after that date. It’s one of our 5 retiring In Colors.
Each item in the Ornate Garden Suite is wonderful, but I think the Ornate Layers Dies are the most versatile and probably the item I will use the most. I love lacy look of the frames!
Don’t miss out on the Retiring In Colors! Please order now, as they sell out even before the final retiring date. Click HERE to order!
The NEW Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper is so pretty, I can’t stop using it! On today’s cards I’ve just used a bit of it from my favorite pattern in the set, the large floral pattern.
There are four patterns in this set of papers, and three sheets of each pattern. The papers have silver and copper foils that create the patterns, and they are so pretty. The cross hatch pattern is all in copper foil and looks very nice as a background piece on a card. You can see the floral pattern that I used on the top of the set above. For today’s design I fussy cut the larger flowers and sponged them with Sponge Daubers.
Here is my Facebook Live from last Friday with a tutorial for making these cards. If you’d like to join my Facebook Lives, pop over to my Facebook page on Fridays at 4:00 PM PDT: https://www.facebook.com/PrettyPaperCards/
This card looks a bit different in each color. The one below was made with Blushing Bride card stock, Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, and Whisper White card stock. The flower was sponged with Sponge Daubers using Blushing Bride, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green ink.
The card below uses Pretty Peacock card stock for the sentiment, Purple Posy card stock for the embossed piece, Woven Threads Designer Series Paper for the background piece, and sponging with Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green ink.
And the third card uses Rich Razzleberry card stock for the sentiment, Purple Posy card stock, Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for the background piece, and sponging with Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green ink. You can tell I had lots of fun with these cards!
