Today’s watercolored card is for this week’s challenge over at Global Design Project. It’s a fun challenge! We are to “case” the designer and this card has a lot to case (copy and share everything!). There are bright layers of watercolors, water drops showing on the watercolors, and the sentiment is heat embossed in white on black card stock. And those are only the parts I copied!
For my card, I white heat embossed flowers from the new Painted Seasons Sale-a-Bration stamp set and watercolored stripes over them. The colors used were Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, and Pineapple Punch. Then I went back in and added drops of water arbitrarily.
The sentiment is from the Love What You Do stamp set and it was embossed on Basic Black card stock and then punched with the Pretty Label Punch. I made a little change to the punched label by cutting the top and bottom just a bit to make them flat. It’s a small change but just gives a slightly different shape 🙂

Today’s card is a bold thank you card with a pretty (ah – beautiful!) Lovely Lipstick Foil butterfly! This card is easy to make, which we all love, right? 🙂
The star of this card is the butterfly. And oh boy do the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies create butterflies! This die set comes with 20 dies!!
This is the card that my January customers will receive. Did you purchase Stampin’ Up! goodies from me in January? If you did, you will be receiving one of these thank you cards!
The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and was heat embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock. The background designer series paper is the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper which you can receive FREE for any order of $50 during Sale-a-Bration! There are butterfly patterns on one side of each 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper, and black and white patterns on the other side. Today I used the white with black dots!
The Lovely Lipstick Foil is also one of the FREE gifts with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration (January 3 – March 31, 2019). Truthfully, it’s my FAVORITE item in the Sale-a-Bration Catalog!!! It’s absolutely gorgeous. This is why we all love Sale-a-Bration ~ so many great FREE goodies!! CLICK BELOW on the Sale-a-Bration Catalog to see all that is available!

Wow, that’s a mouthful, isn’t it…Tea Together Thank You Tags? 🙂 But it totally describes today’s project!
Do you ever make tags? They are so much fun to make because they are like little vignettes, you can create a story on a tag! The story of these tags is having a cup of hot tea with a friend, thanking them for something kind that they did.
These tags were inspired by a card on page 49 of the Occasions Catalog, and they use the Tea Together Stamp Set and the FREE Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. Here’s a picture of my inspiration card from the catalog:
Tags are so easy to make when you use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. It punches the scallops and the hole in a snap! Tranquil Tide card stock formed the base of my tags. On top of the base is another panel of Tranquil Tide card stock embossed with the Lace Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. You know this is my current favorite embossing folder 🙂
The teacup and the rose were both watercolored using an Aqua Painter on Shimmery White card stock. It really only took a minute or so to do the watercoloring.
The teacup and rose were adhered to the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This lifts them up off the base and gives them dimension.
A sweet bow of White 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was adhered with a glue dot, and a tiny butterfly cut with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies adds a bit of whimsy.
You can make lots of tags to tie on gifts or even to put on a card base to create a card. I used my tags as little thank you’s to those people who placed orders for my recent Paper & Ribbon Shares! They were shipped out in the mail and should be arriving as happy mail in inboxes this week!

To say I love the Well Written Framelits Dies is a huge understatement! These are really adorable word dies and there are 24 dies in this set! The number of sentiments is amazing ~ I don’t think we can overstate that!
The Well Said stamp set coordinates with the dies. Here I’ve embossed the word “Heartfelt” with white embossing powder on Old Olive card stock. The words in the stamp set coordinate with the word dies, for a crazy number of sentiments!!!

This is such a wonderful time to let friends know you are grateful for them! And this sentiment from the Falling for Leaves stamp set is great for doing just that!
The base of this card is Crumb Cake card stock. The Whisper White panel was embossed with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede ink and punched with the Starburst Punch.
The leaves were punched using the fun Sprig Punch, and a little bow was tied with Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine. This is an easy card to make, and so nice to send at this time of year 🙂

Are you thankful for fall? I am, and I’m thankful for all of you, my blog readers! So I created this fun “thankful” card with some bright fall colors!
This card uses a watercolored panel stamped with most of the stamps in the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set available from Stampin’ Up! This is very simple watercoloring. Using a panel of Watercolor Paper, spritz it all over with a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water. Then stamp the different leaf stamps with various colors onto the paper. Blot with a tissue where you want the bleeding of the colors to stop. Let the watercolor panel dry or use a heat tool to dry it thoroughly before using. You can see the colors I used in the product list at the end of this post.
On top of the watercolored panel is a 2″ circle of Old Olive card stock embossed with the absolutely fabulous Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This is quickly becoming my favorite embossing folder!!
You might notice that I’ve “distressed” some of the panels of this card. I really like distressing parts of my cards. I happen to use a distressing tool that Stampin’ Up! used to sell 🙁 but sometimes I also use my fingernail or scissors. You can do the same thing to your cards!
