Welcome to the Pals’ February blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! Our Design Team created projects using Sale-A-Bration items to inspire you. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
There are so many great Sale-a-Bration items that it was hard to choose, so I’ve used three! The Precious Parcel Card Kit is a vintage card kit and one of my favorite Sale-a-Bration items. For my card today I’ve cut out two of the floral images from the kit and used them as the focus of the card.
The background on the card is a piece of Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. I love both sides of these papers, one side is a butterfly pattern and the other side is a black and white pattern. Here you see the white paper with black dots. Above that is a layer of vellum.
The leaves behind the flowers were punched with the Leaf Punch from the third Sale-a-Bration item, a Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet. The lighting gives the leaves different shades in the photograph but they blend perfectly with the floral colors!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 13, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “Spring Has Sprung” projects. Don’t miss the fun!

Beautiful! What a great idea to cut out the flowers from the kit and use them separately to make an alternate card! Great inspiration!
Yes, this whole kit is amazing Linda!
Love this as I made the cards into postal boxes (thanks Rachel Tessman for the idea) to hold chocolates for our postal people. I didn’t think the guys would care about the flowers so I have all these punched out and ready to make into cards similar to yours. Thanks for the inspiration. I can make these up to have on hand for birthday cards, get well, thinking of you, etc. I can use the sentiments in the set and make up some. Oh, and use the envelopes too. You just made my day Peggy!!!!!
Chris it sounds like we’ve been on the same wavelength! These flower are SO pretty!
Peggy, this is fantastic! To be honest, I kept looking at the card kit to use for the blog hop and am now SO glad I didn’t. There’s no way it could have turned out as beautiful as this. The Foil leaves are brilliant! Love this card!!
You are so sweet Debbie ~ thank you!
So soft and pretty! I can’t wait for my card kit to come!
You’re going to love it Jeanne!
Peggy, I love seeing what you did with the Precious Parcel Card Kit! Inspirational for sure!
Thanks my friend!
Love your card! I used the same stamp but in a single color…..fir a sympathy card…it turned out beautiful but was all green as this stamp pops out the flowers very well! Being a sympathy card, I decided against using anything else, except used an EF on it, which made it a wood like background!
Thank you Carol!
Did not realize that this is part of a kit…still love it!
I know, right? These kits are gorgeous this year!
Beautiful card and intriguing idea, Peggy! Nice to see so many supportive comments from your friends that are also part of the blog hop! ?
Thank you Patricia! Yes, the Pals are fabulous, I love being a part of this group!
