Petal Promenade has been one of my favorite designer series papers this past year. The petals, the flowers…they are gorgeous! Today’s card uses two sides of the same piece of designer paper. The Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to cut out the frame. The frame really sets off the flowers, doesn’t it?
This card also uses some of my favorite retiring 2017-2019 In Colors: Powder Pink and Fresh Fig. If you don’t have these colors yet, or you need to stock up before they retire on June 3rd, don’t wait to order! Here are the five retiring In Colors – click any color to see all the retiring items of that color!
Underneath the leaves are some swirls of Rose Metallic Thread. Below is my video that show you how to wrap the thread to create this look 🙂
Thank you for stopping by today! Happy stamping!
Beautiful cards. I’m going to run home and make the pink card. I was thinking “how did she make that lovely frame”? I hadn’t thought about the other side of the DSP. Thanks for the tip on metallic thread. I always feel like it looks like a “hot mess” at first.
This card has “Peggy” written all over it! ? I hope there will be another Floral favorite for you in the new annual catalog. Maybe sometime you can include all the cards you made with this pretty paper in one blog post… that would be fun to see! ?
I have been looking for a wedding card and this is perfect! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!! Don’t have this DSP, but I have something that will work. Thank you again so much for sharing!! Absolutely beautiful!
