Today’s card is a fancy fold square card with a circle opening on the front, revealing the sentiment behind. It’s such a fun fold, I just had to show it to you! The video below will show you exactly how to make it 🙂
The card base is Whisper White card stock cut at 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ square. Score the square at 4-1/4″ on two adjoining sides, creating four (4) scored squares. Placing the full sheet in front of you, you will cut out the top left square, using either a Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips. In the one remaining square on the lower left side, cut a 2-1/2″ circle using the Layer Circle Dies.
You could decorate the card in any way you like. To decorate it like this sample, close the card and stamp the sentiment in the center of the circle using Magenta Madness ink. Open the card and stamp the ornament just slightly above the sentiment. Color the ornament using Stampin’ Blends or Watercolor Pencils. Stamp a few of the smaller doves on the edges.
Use the Wreath Builder Dies to cut a wreath out of Rainbow Glimmer Paper. Adhere to the outer circle using Multipurpose Glue.
Open the card further and stamp and decorate as you want to. Here I stamped a sentiment “Peace-Joy-Love” on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. I used one of the Hippo & Friends Dies. Stamp the large sentiment in Magenta Madness ink on the circle you cut from the front of the card. Add some of the olive sprigs if desired.
Stamp the large dove on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Magenta Madness ink. Color the dove with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. Adhere to the front of the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you like this card because I sure did. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
