Christmas Partridge Tag, Card & Gift Box!

And a partridge in a pear tree! Do you know the Twelve Days of Christmas song? When I saw this partridge in the Arrange a Wreath Bundle, I immediately thought of this song ~ and I just had to make something featuring this cute little partridge. As it turns out, I made three things: a tag, a card, and a gift box! They all use basically the same items.

Each of these three items use the tag. Make three tags. Use one as a tag, one on a card, and one to decorate a Mini Pizza Box. Tags are so versatile! To create the tag, start with a 4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Cherry Cobbler. Top that with a 2″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. Punch a hole at the center top and run through a piece of 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon, tying in a knot.

On top of the Plush Poinsettia Paper add some Gold Metallic Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack wrapped in circles and secured under a Stampin’ Dimensional. With the Forever Flourishing Dies, cut a sprig of leaves from Garden Green cardstock and also adhere over the gold trim with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Stamp the partridge on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using Crumb Cake ink; cut out using the Wreath Builder Dies. Adhere over the other Dimensionals to cover them.

Stamp the sentiment from the Arrange a Wreath Stamp Set onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using Cherry Cobbler ink. Punch out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.Tuck under the top right edge of the sprig of leaves and secure with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the card, begin with a standard 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card base scored at 4-1/4″ and adhere a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. Simply adhere the tag at an angle! You might want to tie the Embroidered Ribbon into a bow.

To decorate the Mini Pizza Box, create a belly band with a 4-1/2″ x 12″ piece of the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. Score the belly band at 3″ – 4-1/8″ – 7-7/8″ – and 9.” Wrap around the box and secure in the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Do not punch the top of the tag. After securing the belly band around the box, tie a long piece of 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon around the belly band and tie a big bow on the front. Tuck the top left corner of the tag up under the bow and secure with glue dots or multipurpose glue.
